Back pain is probably one of those acute and often chronic pains that every person has had to deal with at some point in their life.
What can yoga do for your back?
Yoga can effectively prevent back problems and also have a positive effect on existing back pain without side effects. Muscles and ligaments that have shortened due to too little exercise, one-sided posture or overload are stretched and strengthened in yoga - this makes them flexible again.
But conscious relaxation is also very important because in many cases spinal pain can also be psychologically influenced. Yoga is of great help here as the exercises have a direct effect on the mind and nervous system.
So this afternoon, let's dive deep into the beneficial practice of back yoga and conscious relaxation. Special asanas and a moving session await you, in which various options are discussed and tried out, with which you can continue practicing independently at home or in our back yoga classes. We end with a long guided deep relaxation, so that you can then feel "like feel "newborn" :-)
